Position Overview: 

We are actively recruiting for a WarehouseManager to join our Middleton Operation. This hands-on role requires a dynamic individual to work alongside their team, ensuring the smooth operation of our cold store fridge environment.

 

Based: Romac Logistics Ltd, Middleton, Manchester 

Job type: Full-time, Permanent

Shift: Mon-Fri, Days

Salary: Up to £40,000 a year

The Role: As a Warehouse Manager, you will play a crucial role in achieving industry leading KPIs in Health & Safety, service, and performance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing products

  • Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to optimise productivity and minimise errors

  • Ensure accurate inventory management and perform regular cycle counts

  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill orders and ensure timely delivery to customers

  • Train and supervise warehouse staff, including scheduling shifts and assigning tasks

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations

  • Monitor and analyse warehouse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement

  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to maintain strong relationships and resolve any issues

 

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager.

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes

  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively

  • Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
