A very special addition to the Romac fleet

Over the past 12 months, we’ve welcomed almost 200 Renault Trucks T480 tractor units as part of our continued investment in our fleet, with further vehicles still to come. But this T High is different.

The truck has been commissioned in memory of Annette, a much-loved friend and former colleague of our CEO, Rob McAdoo. Rob worked alongside Annette for more than 20 years, long before the Romac journey began, and remembers her as “the life and soul of any occasion”.

Although Annette was not part of Romac, the friendship and memories she shared with Rob have remained an important part of his life. This truck is a personal tribute to her and a way of keeping her memory moving forward.

From its bespoke paintwork and custom livery to the additional detailing and lighting, every element has been carefully considered to create something truly special.

It is the only named tractor unit in the Romac fleet, making it a fitting and lasting tribute to Annette.

We’d like to thank everyone who helped bring the vision to life, including Diamond Trucks, Commercial Colours, DPL Graphics, Toal Truck Services and HGV Electrics.

We’d also like to thank Jenna Williams from Diamond Trucks for completing the handover to Romac driver Graham.

Keeping her memory moving

Some trucks become part of a fleet. This one carries a story.

Annette sadly passed away at just 41, but the memories of the person she was continue to live on with those who knew her.

Every time this truck heads out on the road, it will be a small reminder of Annette, the life she lived and the people whose lives she touched.

This one’s for you, Annette. 🧡
