Job Type:  Full-time, Permanent

Shift Pattern: Multiple shift patterns available - to be discussed

• Friday to Monday - 11:00 to 15:00 starts

• Friday to Monday - 17:00 to 20:00 starts

• Friday to Monday - 21:00 to Midnight starts 

Salary: £16.76 to £19.04 per hour
Based: Avonmouth, Bristol

 

 

Romac Logistics are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team based in Avonmouth, Bristol.

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

• 2-5 store deliveries per shift, including loading and unloading at customer locations using electric pump truck.

• During each delivery, you will be required to load and unload at customer bays.

• There will be handball involved, such as loading and unloading pallets.

 

Skills and Experience:

 

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph card

• Good understanding of driver hours & WTD

• Strong work ethic and good timekeeping

 

What We Offer:

• Customer Service/Logistics experience preferred but not essential.

• Must be able to work on own initiative

• Experience in a fast-paced working environment would be ideal

• 'Can do', problem solving attitude

• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Good and clear communication skills
