Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off 07:00am to 19:00pm
Salary: £35,000 per year
Based: Eurocentral, Motherwell

 

 

Romac Logistics are currently recruiting for a Transport Supervisor to join our team based in Eurocentral, Motherwell.

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

• Line management of all driving staff

• Line management of Transport Coordinators

• Line management of Driver Trainer

• Management of defect reporting and repairs

• Support RTM in maintaining planned maintenance schedules

• Ensure driver debriefs are completed correctly by your team, monitoring tachograph downloads, defect and accident reporting

• Daily fleet checks for safety & hygiene

• Management of driver infringement process. Ensuring infringements are monitored and any training carried out. Escalate to RTM as required

• Absence management of staff, ensuring proper process followed rom contact to RTW.

• Ensure TMS system compliance

• Route tracking and DOT reporting to customers as required

• Support RTM with investigation of accidents and incidents ·

• Communicate and coordinate potential issues with internal departments helping to work to as a team to a solution beneficial to all parties involved

 

Skills and Experience:

 

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• Excellent communication (verbal & written)

• Ability to work under pressure and think on your feet

• IT literacy (Excel, TMS software)

 

What We Offer:

 

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a transport office – preferred but not essential.

• Management CPC in road transport operations – preferred but not essential.
