Position Overview: 

We are looking for three detail-oriented and proactive Transport Compliance Officers to join our team , ensuring all fleet operations adhere to compliance standards and safety regulations.

​

Based: Romac Logistics Ltd, Middleton / Alfreton / Wolverhampton

Job type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £35,000 per year

​

Responsibilities at a Glance:

• Monitor compliance, quality control and assurance standards across all areas of fleet management.

• Ensure the safe operation of all distribution activities in line with Health & Safety legislation.

• Oversee planned preventive maintenance, cyclical maintenance, repairs, testing, and inspections.

• Manage installation, regeneration, and improvement works/projects.

• Maintain accurate documentation and records for all fleet activities.

• Schedule regular vehicle management and maintenance checks.

• Conduct audits and report on transport departments to ensure drivers comply with rules and regulations.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a Fleet Manager or in a similar role.

• In-depth knowledge of the transport industry and current trends.

• Transport Managers Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).

• Proficiency in using computerised fleet management software/tools.

• Strong analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills.

• Excellent communication skills.​​
