Shift Pattern: 18:00pm to 06:00am - 4 on 4 off ​

Salary: £13.40 per hour
Based: Wolverhampton

 

 

Romac Logistics are currently recruiting for a Reach Truck Driver to join our team based in Wolverhampton.

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

• Operate reach trucks and other material handling equipment to load and unload goods from lorries and storage areas.

• Move materials within the warehouse, ensuring proper placement and organisation of stock.

• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality, reporting any issues promptly.

• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.

• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).

• Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to all safety protocols to prevent injuries.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations and support overall logistics activities.

 

Skills and Experience:

 

• Mechanical knowledge to understand reach truck operations and basic equipment repair.

• Experience in shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse setting.

• Proficiency in using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory.

• Strong skills in load unloading procedures, ensuring safe handling of materials.

• Basic maths skills for inventory management and record keeping.

• Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift.

• Knowledge of materials handling best practices to enhance efficiency and safety in the workplace.
